Hi there! I'm Serhii from Dnipro, Ukraine. Welcome to my personal website.

Frontend

I've been working in the IT since my last year at the university. Over the last couple of years, I've been working as a senior software engineer at Vaadin. Currently, I'm one of the maintainers of Vaadin web components library.

My primary areas of interests are Web Components, accessibility and design systems. Also, I enjoy working on open source projects in my spare time. Sometimes I like to spread the word about my team's achievements.

Poetry

Poetry has been one of my hobbies since my childhood. I enjoy reading poetry and learning it by heart. Every now and then I compose poems myself. Nowadays I only write in Ukrainian, even though it isn't my mother tongue.

When I was a student, I attended the literature studio «Вуглик» in the Dnipro Polytechnic library. Since then I won the Grand Prix at two poetry festivals: «ТА-НЕ-НА-ДО Фест» (Dnipro, 2010) and «Ан Т-Р-Акт» (Kherson, 2014).
